Terry S. Nuzzo, CPA

Terry Nuzzo graduated from Myers College in 1974. He is a Certified Public Accountant and recently retired from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) after 32 years of service.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a part-time Highline Community College Financial and Managerial Accounting instructor. 

 

During Terry’s career with DCAA he gained extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of government contracting as a DCAA Seattle Branch Field Audit Office Manager, supervisory auditor, and senior auditor.  He managed, supervised, and performed a wide array of both financial and operational audits.   He specialized in highly complex operations, defective pricing, termination, equitable adjustment, and government property audits.  In addition, he not only managed and performed these highly specialized audits, but he also developed and presented DCAA agency wide training classes in these areas.  Terry’s DCAA career was marked with numerous awards and recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions to DCAA.  He was awarded the DCAA Meritorious Civilian Service Award, which is one of the highest forms of recognition granted by DCAA.
