William Vermie

Bill is a Vietnam veteran and a graduate of Drake University in 1973 with a degree in accounting.   Bill was the accountant for a non-profit science center and has provided free tax preparation assistant for economically disadvantaged.  

Before retiring from DCAA in January of 2006, he was a staff auditor and special projects coordinator for the Seattle and Rainier Branch Offices.   During his years with DCAA Bill:

·         performed audits in the areas of contract auditing,

·         provided training in areas of contract auditing,

·         reviewed audit effort for quality,

·         performed special projects for regional and local managers and,

·         provided management information system training for the Western United States.   

Bill also holds a Six-Sigma Blackbelt in process improvements. 

In addition to his duties at PNWC, Bill teaches accounting part-time at Highline Community College.
